What it changes for the person using it.
In short
Life GPS is an iOS app in open beta. It opens without an account and without a password.
What it does is not a list of features. It takes the whole of a person's life — every sphere, the time they actually have, the people around them, what they are carrying right now — and turns it into one next step they can actually take, with the reasoning visible.
Below: what each of the four systems changes in a life, and how wide that reaches.
One life instead of nine
What it changes. Right now the person is the integration layer. They hold the context between a fitness app and a calendar and a bank and a therapist, they carry it in their own head, and they are the one who notices — usually months late — that progress in one place was paid for out of another.
Life GPS takes that job off them. The trade-off becomes visible before the decision instead of after it. Not more effort, better placed effort: less time managing the system, more time living the life.
How wide this reaches. Anyone with more than one thing going on at once. A parent holding work and family. A founder whose health is quietly funding the company. A student who is also earning. Someone rebuilding after illness, or a move, or a loss. The more a life has in it, the more this matters — which is most people, most of the time.
Available in the beta.
Help from people who have already been there
What it changes. When something is hard, the answer usually exists a phone call away — someone in this person's own circle has already lived it. But there is no path from the need to that person, so the need goes to a search box or to an AI, and the relationship that would have formed never does.
Life GPS builds that path. It also does something quieter and more important: it does not suggest a step that quietly breaks someone close. And when a conversation is what is needed, both sides arrive already knowing what matters to the other, instead of spending the first twenty minutes getting there.
How wide this reaches. Family first — the decisions that move more than one life. Then friendships, professional circles, communities of people going through the same thing. Anywhere a person's choice lands in someone else's week.
Relationships, the closed network, reciprocity and conversation preparation are in the beta. Live calls and the mediator are built and in testing now — they switch on after the current stage.
It keeps what you said matters in focus
What it changes. Most tools ask the same questions forever, or freeze you as you were on the day you signed up. Six months later the advice is built for a stranger.
Life GPS holds what you put in focus — the goals you named, the limits you set, the commitments you said come first — and keeps holding them while life moves. You don't restate your situation every time. And when what you do stops matching what you said, it shows you that, instead of quietly building plans on a sentence you no longer mean.
It does not claim to know you better than you know yourself. It holds what you told it, keeps it visible, and lets you change any of it at any time. A system that decides it understands you better than you do has already taken the decision away from you.
How wide this reaches. Starts with the person themselves — a year in, the system is more useful rather than merely fuller. And it extends further: an approach a person has spent a life developing can be held and worked with by someone else. A daughter running a project alongside her father's way of thinking, because the model knows his logic, his approaches, his order of doing things. That is what is usually lost entirely.
The model across time, memory and decay are in the beta. The screen where a person inspects and corrects what is held is not ready — see the honest note on the avatar page.
Technology that stops taking
What it changes. Everything else is built to hold attention. This is built to hand it back: it lowers the load instead of pushing when a person is empty, treats silence as an answer, and does not need anyone to stay inside it to have done its job. No account, no feed, no streak to lose, no counters, no ratings on human beings.
And the sharpest part: the same system that holds a whole life could steer it without ever looking like it was steering. So the limits on it were written down first, published, and can be checked — including by people who would like to catch us.
How wide this reaches. Everyone. There is no one whose attention is not being fought over right now, and the fight is getting better funded and better designed every year.
Available in the beta.
Things you will not find in another app
- Your whole life on one surface. Not nine apps that cannot see each other — one place where improving one thing cannot quietly damage another.
- The time you actually have, split the way you chose. You set what each part of your life is worth in hours. The system works inside that and never quietly raises the number.
- One next step, and the reasoning under it. What was taken into account, what it affects, why this and not something else — so you can disagree with it on the facts.
- It starts where the cause is. Not where the symptom shows. The thing blocking your goal is often in a completely different part of your life.
- See what a goal costs before you commit to it. Assemble it, try the future it leads to, and decide whether you actually want it — before months go into it.
- What you save from the internet becomes part of your path. Not a dead bookmark folder you never open again.
- You enter through your own beliefs. Your faith, your philosophy, your values — the system works inside your frame instead of selling you its own.
- Faith is held as part of the path — the days, the limits, the obligations — not filed away as a category.
- Room for the questions no planner has a field for. What you regret. What you are afraid of losing. Loneliness. Attention. What you would want at the end.
- Relationships treated for what they are. A parent is not a contact. Each kind of relationship has its own path, and a decision that lands on someone close is seen before it is suggested.
- Both sides prepared before a hard conversation — so it starts at the real thing instead of twenty minutes in.
- Help counted in time, not money. You help with what you have already lived through. Nobody is rated, ranked or scored.
- A model of you that changes when you change — and forgets what stopped being true.
- Crisis handled without the internet. Because that is exactly when a connection cannot be assumed.
- No account, no password, no feed, nothing to scroll. Open it and start.
