Matched by path, not by photo.

In short

Dating products optimise for the swipe: a photograph, a few lines, and a decision made in under a second. What they can see is appearance and stated preference. What they cannot see is how two people actually live — the hours they have, the obligations they carry, where they are going, and what they have already been through.

Life GPS knows that, because a person's path is the thing it holds. So the question it can ask is different: not who looks right, but whose life is actually going somewhere compatible.

Love is one of the nine spheres of the product and has its own area inside it. Status is being confirmed before publication — this page will carry it on the line, like every other page here.

Why we think the swipe is the wrong instrument

Not because appearance does not matter — it does, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.

Because appearance is the only thing the instrument can measure, so it becomes the whole decision. Everything that determines whether two people can live alongside each other — rhythm, obligations, what they are working toward, what they will not compromise, whether their weeks can even touch — is invisible to a photograph, and it arrives months later when it is expensive to discover.

A second problem follows: an endless feed of candidates makes choosing worse, not better. The mechanics that keep a person swiping are the same mechanics this whole system is built to refuse.

What matching on a path means

The system already holds, for a person who chose to have it hold this: the time they actually have, the obligations they have named, the relationships that move when they move, where they came from, the version of themselves they said they want to become, and what they will not trade.

That is the material a real compatibility question is made of:

None of that replaces attraction. It decides which conversations are worth having, and then gets out of the way. The meeting, the feeling and the decision belong entirely to the two people.

The constraints this area runs inside

Everything on this page is bounded by the same constitution as the rest of the system, and here it matters more than anywhere:

Nobody is rated. No attractiveness score, no desirability ranking, no tiers, no "top" anyone. People are not sorted by quality — not publicly, not privately, not in a number only the machine sees.

Nothing is bought. No boost, no promoted placement, no paying to appear in front of someone. If visibility can be purchased, everything above becomes decoration.

No endless feed. The area is not built to be scrolled through in the evening. A short session is a good session here too.

Sensitive context stays local-first. What a person's path contains is theirs; only explicitly permitted fields leave the device — and what another person sees is what this person allowed them to see.

Refusal is always valid, and it costs nothing — no visible decline, no pressure to explain, no reactivation campaign.

What we are not claiming

We do not claim to predict compatibility. We do not claim a success rate. There is no study behind this, and we will not manufacture one — this is a design position about what an instrument should be able to see, published so it can be argued with.

We do not claim that the path is all that matters in love. It is the part a system can responsibly hold. The rest is not ours.

Where this connects

To the whole life. Love is one of the nine spheres, and a decision here moves the others — which is exactly why it cannot live in a separate app → /whole-life

To the human network. The same rule as everywhere: AI is there to bring people together, never to stand in for one → /network

To the human antivirus. No ratings, no purchased visibility, no endless feed, no pressure → /antivirus
