An open letter — the side of the person
From the person who built Life GPS · September 2026 · на русском
What we forgot
It seems to me that in the pursuit of consumption, success and the plain necessity of earning a living, we forgot the simplest question: what it means to be a human being, and what we are here for.
We built an extraordinarily complex world. And you, inside it, are too often alone, stretched thin, and unsure where to go next.
Technology gets smarter year by year. Systems know better and better how to hold your attention, what to sell you, how to make you more productive. But the world should be built for you — not you adjusted to everything we have built around you.
Where the gap becomes dangerous
For most of your life, you are the integration layer of the world. You explain yourself to the bank, then to the doctor, then to the employer, the school, the insurer, the state — and you carry the pieces between them yourself. Each system builds its own model of you, for its own purpose, and sees only its own part.
Each of them can make a good decision inside its own function. Together, the sum of those good decisions can be a bad result for your life — and no system is responsible for the sum, because no system sees it.
Now AI is beginning not only to advise you but to act for you: buy, book, apply, negotiate, move money. On the technology side, we are building infrastructure of enormous power. On your side, a comparable layer is only starting to form. That is the gap. It was uncomfortable before. It is about to be critical.
We are not asking for a pause
This is not a letter against AI, and not a call for a pause. Progress can continue. The side of the person has to catch up.
The world is already building the rules: human oversight of AI, human rights in the digital sphere, wellbeing frameworks, child safety, open banking, digital wallets, standards for consent. Much of the machinery for exchanging data and authority with a person already exists, and it is maturing fast. We do not propose to replace any of it.
For five years we have been building the other side — not in a policy paper, but inside a working product. A system that stays on your side, holds your whole life in one context, and turns it into one route that changes as you do: money, health, work, love, education, faith, family, friends, what you are trying to become. It places a decision from the world — a loan, a job, a treatment, an agent's task — inside that whole life before you make it, gives the outside world only what its lawful purpose needs, and keeps the decision connected to your life for as long as it shapes that life.
The constraints that govern the system were written before the code that implements them, and they are published. Scoring a person with a number is forbidden by a law of the system. The beta is open.
What we do not claim
We have not solved this. We are not first, and we are not announcing a standard. Connections to institutions through the protocol we describe are not live yet — the product on your side exists and can be tested now; the open protocol is the next step. We would rather be corrected now than believed too early.
What we are asking
A project like this cannot be finished by one person. So I am not asking you to believe me or my words.
Open the product. Try it. Tell us where we are wrong.
If you build AI, put your safety work next to ours and check whether the goal, the authority and the consequences stay with the person over time. If you work in a bank, a clinic, a school, an insurer or a government, put your rules next to ours and help us build your scenario on a working system. If you write standards, tell us whether the remaining pieces can be specified interoperably with what you maintain. If you study people and technology, break what we built and publish the result — including a negative one.
If this idea is close to you — help build a world in which technology, knowledge and people work around the person again, rather than the person around them.
